MullenLowe Group X Ruby Cup

The challenge:

After a period of intense workload, the agency wanted to offer strategy and creative teams a break from their day to day work. The HR department identified purposeful work as a powerful tool to stimulate employees and bring back motivation.

The solution:

We created a training program aiming to increase employee engagement through purposeful work.

We matched the agency with RubyCup: a social enterprise that is globally recognised and pioneering in the field of period poverty.


An inspiring talk from one of the founders was followed by a challenging brief: to refine the brand positioning and craft a tagline to help the brand compete against the increasing competition from big companies.

The outcome:

👉 Participants felt good about using their skills to support a socially and environmentally switched-on brand;

👉 People felt a sense of pride working in an agency that offers such opportunities to employees.

👉 Colleagues who may have never worked together formed new friendships, laying foundations for future client work.

👉 The brand positioning and tagline created is now being used by Ruby Cup. Participants felt proud about being able to help the social business and seeing their work coming to life.
